The Cocktail Tour

Join Elizabeth on a romp through the French Quarter as you experience the unique history of New Orleans through some of its most storied cocktails. Hear the story behind the ingredients, people, and cultures who contributed to such classic drinks as the Sazerac, the Hurricane, and the St. Charles Hotel Punch.

Notable stops along the way include the 19th century courtyard of the Hermann-Grima House, the French Market, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, and the Port of New Orleans. And, unlike many other cocktail tours, this one is inclusive and you will never have to pull out your wallet to buy a drink.

French Quarter Culinary Tour

Stroll through the historic French Quarter with Elizabeth, while she shares with you the story of New Orleans and her residents. As you walk, taste the dishes that have come to define Creole cuisine: gumbo, red beans and rice, bread pudding, muffaletta, pickled okra, and pralines.

Visit historic landmarks including  the 19th century courtyard of the Hermann-Grima House, the French Market, the Port of New Orleans, Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Come savor the story of the New Orleans and leave with a richer, deeper understanding of one of America’s most unique cities.

Tours are by appointment only and cost is $60 per person. Accomodations can be made for special diets with advance notice. The tour will last for 2 hours and begins and ends at the Hermann-Grima House (get directions).
